Hi rookie, I have never tried this way .i.e., using install commands such as apt-get or yum or so forth on a kernel running on a board. Whatever binaries whether applications or libraries, you can add them into your rootfs via Petalinux tool chain. does anyone know the commands to list packages on yum or apt-get. i know yum grouplist on CentOS and like it cause I like to remove group packages that I do not use. I use the | tee to list the output on a .txt file to study the groups. But I can't find any commands to list single installed
I'm used to run apt-get upgrade in my debian based servers for "normal" upgrades and apt-get dist-upgrade for allowing kernel upgrades or allowing new major package versions upgrades. In the CentOS servers I admin, I would like to have a similar feature, however man yum doesn't seem to offer such behaviour.
